About Me

My photo
Having a large Scottish heritage that migrated from England into Canada to Maine and other states. I am from a family of 9. Six girls and 3 boys. My dad died young when I was about 8 years old. I have 4 children and 3 step children with the great joy of 20 grandchildren. I worked in financial institutions and accounting for many years. Now I sew and make lots of stuffed animals and many other things. I'm a grandmother that has years of sewing in a wide variety of catagories. Photography has become one of my passions over the years. Nature that God has presented us is one of the greatest to photograph. My family and pets hate to see me with a camera in my hands. The bug took hold at Christmas time taking photos of my children in front of the tree. That became a tradition. Then you have family gatherings, vacations, grandchildren and the list could go on.

"THE WILL OF GOD WILL NEVER LEAD YOU WHERE THE GRACE OF GOD WOULDN'T PROTECT YOU"

"THE WILL OF GOD WILL NEVER LEAD YOU WHERE THE GRACE OF GOD WOULDN'T PROTECT YOU"

LOOK AT THIS CLOSELY

A man in Argentina received this picture and called it "junk mail", 8 days later his son died.. A man received this picture & immediately sent out copies..his surprise was winning the lottery. Alberto Martinez received this picture, gave it to his secretary to make copies but they forgot to distribute:
She lost her job & he lost his family. This picture is miraculous & sacred.

You were chosen to receive this novena.

The moment you receive it,
say :

Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name,
Thy kingdom come,
Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us.
Lead us not into temptation.
Deliver us from evil.
Amen.

GOD WANTED ME TO TELL YOU, It shall be well with you this coming year.

No matter how much your enemies try this year, they will not succeed.

You have been destined to make it and you shall surely achieve all your
goals this year.

For all of 2011, all your agonies will be diverted and victory and
prosperity will be incoming in abundance.
Today God has confirmed the end of your sufferings, sorrows and pain because HE that sits on the throne has remembered you.
He has taken away the hardships and given you JOY.
He will never let you down...

I knocked at heaven's door this morning,
God asked me.
My child! What can I do for you? And I said,
'Father, please protect and bless the person reading this message... '

Enjoy and pass on to others to enjoy and be blessed.

ATC/ACEO are fun to make with many mediums

One of the fun things about ATC/ACEO's is that they can be made with just about any medium you want to use. Paint(acrylic or watercolor), mixed media are two of my most chosen to work with. I'm just a newbie without much talent but like to make the effort to see the results.

This is my version of the little boat my dear hubby designed and made a few years ago. It is his baby and doesn't trust any with it but himself. We have enjoy many outings with it since he made it.

Christmas time is a wonderful season to see beautiful lights

Christmas time is a wonderful season to see beautiful lights around your neighborhood. No place is decorated the same, every ones ideas are different. Some do with big displays other with simple. The cost can be high with the electrical bill. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I love to look but can't afford to run the power bill up. We have some in the community that just have wreaths up with a light shining on it. They are gorgeous. Another one in the community has evey imaginable blow up scene you can buy. But...it is especially important to remember what Christmas is really about. The birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus. That is the true meaning of celebration. The lights are beautiful as long as we remember this most important fact.
